Sample Boxes by Tryit - UK [AD]

[AD - Free Samples]. Many thanks to TryitUK for sending me this lovely box of samples to try. You can also read about it on my Instagram: @moanmentsandmemories!

Today I have been doing my best to hibernate from the world - curtains drawn, cosy blanket set up and the kettle on. It's a rainy Thursday where I am, we get a lot of rain in Wales... However I should count my blessings as it was a fabulous day yesterday, which was spent at a country park - but that will be reviewed for you to peruse at a later date. As you know having a chronic illness can be harder some days than others. Today was a bad day - pain wise, it was hard to get out of bed this morning and get myself motivated enough to be able to function. So this package was a very welcome distraction!

There I was all cwtched up, with a cup of tea in hand and there was a prompt knock on the door, which sent the dog into a tizz. After opening the door I warmly welcomed the parcel which brightened up my day...

Tryit SAMPLE BOX

For those of you who are not aware of Tryit they operate a product discovery club where you can receive fun samples of products to try before you buy them for FREE! Once you sign up, you will need to complete a survey about your personal circumstances, such as; if you have children, pets, what you enjoy drinking and eating, so they are able to best match you for a positive product testing experience.

IN MY BOX....

The box arrives neatly wrapped and nestled in the package were:

An exquisitely proportioned and interestingly labelled bottle of Blended Scottish Whisky which will warm you all the way up to the Highlands on a cold winters day. This bottle would not look out of place in a Victorian pharmacy, is the perfect sized for a clutch bag on a wild night out, or to trickle into your tea to warm your whiskers. At 40% this smoky and rich blend will be enough to power a small turbine for several hours!

Then I discovered the partner in this delicious duo (accompanied by the Whisky) a bottle of Blood Orange and Cinnamon flavoured tonic water, kindly provided by Lixir. This drink is both refreshing and low in calories, which doesn't make you feel too bad when it's mixed in to a cheeky tipple. The drink has a variety of 2 other flavours; Rhubarb and Ginger, Light and Crisp. I think out of a choice of 3 flavours - they definitely sent me the right one! Created by a team of bartenders and friends, this drink is definitely on a mission to tantalise your taste buds and shake up your favourite spirit!
A highlight in the package of goodies, was the delicious can of vanilla latte from Costa Coffee. This was definitely the caffeine hit that I needed to get my motor running this morning! Part of the chilled coffee range, which promises 'just a hint of sweetness' the drink comes in 3 other flavours, so there is something for every palette! The others available are; Flat White, Caramel Latte and original Latte flavour. As Costa Coffee is a company which takes both its environmental impact and customer health seriously, the drink boasts a 30% less sugar than most ready-to-drink coffee's badge, it is Rainforest Alliance Certified and consists of a signature blend of beans.

As you maybe able to tell I really enjoyed this experience, which was made better by the sample from Bud Light - a light, strawberry enthused alcohol sparkling water. At 4% and just 95 calories per can, this is the ultimate summer beverage for warm evening parties.

Not forgetting you feline friends Lovebug had included a pouch of their environmentally friendly food. This product is an insect-based protein, which boasts to being both nutritionally good and easy on the planet! What's not love?!
The final act in this assortment of positivity is for when the waves of cleaning prove too turbulent to sail alone, break through the grime with Ocean Saver's Power-Cleaning Eco Drops! This handy-dandy palm sized product is sure to save your elbow some grease and the environment from plastic pollution! It promises to have superior cleaning power, is plant-based and non-toxic, uses zero plastic both in packaging and the product and is NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS!!! I think for such a small product it has to work hard to ensure it's reputation. But hey - its totally plastic free and kind to animals, a total win in my books!
I genuinely loved receiving this sample of fantastic products, so whether you are chronically ill or not and just having a bad day - I think we can all appreciate that small gestures go a long way!

[AD - Sample] Many thanks for Tryit-UK for this fun and fabulous collaboration! Be sure to check back for more reviews of samples!
